DescriptionReverse glass painting of kneeling Christ with gold halo and wearing a loin cloth praying before a gold chalice. A pink drapery backs the bottom half of the image, and the top half has a gray ground. Behind the figure a flower (stem) fills the space and below, a gold pitcher. On back, a label in Polish and English reads: "Jesus Christ in the Olive-Garden Model from the XVIII-XIXth century. Bible - model. Folklor - painting on glass from the distrikt of Tatra - mountains (Poland) Painted by Slawomir Szpakowski. Master of arts."
