DescriptionPencil sketch on white paper, frontal view of the Wayang Gunungan Merapi, a large, leaf shaped shadow puppet. Drawing depicts smoke, the eruption of Mount Merapi, a tree of life, the mosque with the dome of the Palace of Yogyakarta, dying oxen and human figures, below which is a large fanged dragon with arabic text on it's arms. Signed 3/3 2011, 10.24 WIB, artists signature on left bottom. Light text on upper middle right "B3 Hemse" and erased text on left upper middle. Paper has an attached strip at bottom to extend length.
