Wayang Kuilt: Indonesian Shadow Puppets

DescriptionShadow puppet, large ogre figure with mottled purple skin. Elaborately decorated skirt, painted to look like batik, and metal leafed bracelets around wrists and ankles. Red eyes, toothy red mouth. Puppet attached to a heavy central stick of horn, with a wood stick attached to one jointed arm at the wrist. Painted date 10-3-07 near foot.
