DescriptionDark wood heddle pulley has rectangular body with two slender "arms" topped with heads with large open mouths facing front and back. The figure wears a large headdress of two inward facing birds with long curved necks and large beaks. Their bodies are hatched, and the "chest" of the pulley body below is crosshatched. A heavy metal wire runs through holes in the arms, from which a wood bobbin is suspended. Traces of white or gold pigments in incising.
