DescriptionLong, large, dark hardwood box (a) carved with images of six wayang (Indonesian shadow puppets) on the front. The lid (b) lifts off and inside are four separate bamboo trays (c-f). Each tray is woven in a different pattern: c. has two large diamonds of dark and light bamboo splints and an alternating dark and light pattern on the edges. d. is woven of natural, light colored bamboo in a herringbone pattern. A blue plastic rope is attached to the center of one side. e. is a shorter rectangle, with natural colored cloth over a bamboo frame, and f. is a long, narrow rectangle with a pale cloth over bamboo frame.Henry Earlich
