DescriptionCross stitch sampler. Was bound in pale blue silk, hemmed all around. Geometrical border designs form a frame 4 cm deep all around, center worked in horizontal stripes: 1. "Lo hizo Luz V.", 2. roses, 3. blue running stems and leaves, yellow flowers, 4. pink and yellow flowers, 5 lozenge shapes, 6 tuplips. Shades of soft pink, greens, blues, yellows and orange, ten and brown. All wool. Made in New Mexico, late 19th C.
