DescriptionThe figure in a nebulous sort of draped cloak of red, has a large head, bare legs and feet, beard, holds a staff and lettered banner, which is illegible. Probably this was an attempt at "Behold the Lamb of God"-the figure shows attempt at anatomical painting and shading. It is out of proportion- the background is reddish brown and generally suggests an effort to copy a Mexican oil on canvas.
