DescriptionFigure has usual habit and attributes of this saint, plus frogged white cuffs, red swags with red palm shapes on white edges, tiled floor, small curly red and black plant at right side. Face is pointed up with pink cheeks, pink and grey shaded upper and lower lids, suggest early Molleno--as do hands--but is not quite abstract enough. Once this panel had a certain richness and dignity in its arrangement and color. 1930 sale price, $10.00
