DescriptionQuisicosas Head, yellow. Large round helmet-mask with whimsical face. Two faces, front and back with orange yarn hair and black fiber moustaches. Made of woven cotton fiber bands wrapped around round surface and glued in place. Overpainted numerous times. Tubular projecting nose and flat projecting ears. These heads were made by Will Shuster and friends sometime in late 1920's early 1930's. They were used in various Fiesta activities until 1984. According to Calla Hay, who helped make the heads, The glue used was recently on the market and made everyone sick.
