Description[Text from Physical File] Plain light, off white yeso background, well prepared, with narrow border of one black and one dk. earth red stripe, all around. Figure stands on 2 stepped pedestal; has white gown, golden chasuble, red pallium, large solid yellow halo. He holds monstrance and triple flowered rod or wand- a rendering of the aspergilium (or "triple crowns"?). The anatomical details are naive but control of outline very positive and able. Face has heavily shaded dark upper eyelids and offise of nose. The ears are small with an exaggerated point at lobe- (in this case only l ear is seen. This is an excellent example of the work of the Santo Nino painter and also in fine collection, Sto. Nino de Atocha in CW coll. His style is unmistakable but quite sledom found.
