DescriptionSolid wood back, decorated interior. Sides of horizontal mouldings, top, across center and bottom, filled in by pair of cut-out wood strips forming inverted V above center moulding. Three cut-out strips below, vertical, painted to emphasize effect of turned spindles although wood is flat. Front is open with grooved and painted moulding at bottom and top. Top is cut in arch framing interior, surmounted by two knobs. Top and bottom of front trimmed by stepped cut-out wood mouldings. Painted back panel divided into 3 uneven squares - lower two framed by dark lines and red dots; upper panel decorated by a shape(?) possibly once a stylized tower of red and black - and flower form.Artist unrecorded
