DescriptionWhen Balyberdin received an inactive mine from the front, he chose to mitigate the horror of death with the figure of an angel. “We work with what we have and what we have now are the materials of war. This angel, soaring above the mine, symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, of light over darkness,” says Balyberdin.
