DescriptionThis large, swinging, handcarved cradle is comprised of two parts, the cradle and base, with an overall dark brown stain. The base is a hanging frame with geometric carvings along the top sides and bottom. The feet of the base have a step pyramid shape. The cradle is attached with four metal eye hooks that allow for swinging and detachment. The cradle has an overall rhomboidal prism shape with a hollowed middle. The outside of the cradle has several geometric patterns carved into all sides. There are matching designs on the front and back, as well as matching designs on the two side panels.1920-1972
