ProvenanceAvid collectors of traditional art from India, the Himalayas, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East the donors purchased this chair from an antique shop in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1992, and had it shipped to the USA in 2006.
DescriptionA four-legged chair with a five-sided seat; Solid back and sides separated by space drawn by 3 vertical spindle pieces; Solid surfaces are covered with inlay of mother-of-pearl, ebony and other precious materials.
