Description[Text from Physical File] San Ramon Nonato holds monstrance and a triple leaved palm or spray- but has tonsure and is smooth shaven- in black gown under white surplice dotted with red and blue (not unusual dress for this saint. In the style of NFD-R/14, A5.1954.57, L3.1951.5, CWR-18, and A5.1952.57; a small but homogenous series by the same hand. These are distinguished by the very sketchy outlines, feather-like feet and fingers, "banjo" eyes, with continuous line from inner eyebrow down one side of nose and up to the other side to opposite eyebrow- plus a bold feeling for the placing of light and dark areas over the compostition, such as swags at sides. Details are all of the most elementary kind.
