ProvenanceDonor purchased the sculpture from Robert Bogel in Aspen in the early 1980s. Vogel purchased the piece directly from the artist.
Dr. Blaich worked with Alexander Girard and gained an appreciation of folk art and hand-crafted artworks. He first learned of Archuleta's work via Girard. This piece has resided with Dr. Blaich since the early 1980s.
