ProvenanceThis doll was purchased by the donor at a Kurentovanje festival while she was traveling through Europe in 1964. She believes that it was in a mountain town east of Belgrade but does not recall the name of the town. If her recollection is accurate, this area was then part of Yugoslavia; today the town would now be located in Serbia or Romania.
