DescriptionMade of four panels, this cotton jacket has embroidered and cuffed sleeves, embroidered shoulder panels, and embroidered neck. Woven cloth in green, pink, and fine yellow stripes outlines and green sewn design at both sides of opening. The embroidery, on a red cotton ground, is of stylized flowers and leaf design, primarily a tightly sewn buttonhole stitch with a few traces of herringbone, gold foil accents are on sleeves, and gold sequin accents on shoulders. A typical miniscule triangular applique outlines shoulder and joint of sleeve to jacket body and entire collar, the colors are two shades of green, black and foil, and red and green/a very tiny cross stitched (petit point) pattern further outlines this area. Two plastic gold beads are attached at elbow area. Slits on jacket sides.Pedro Antonio Fresquis
