Hanging on the wall behind him are two wooden spoons, a small cross with a diamond and conical attachments, and a red chile ristra. Above him is a window with wooden bars and vigas on the ceiling. The wall is a pale gold. The border is grey with a series of three white dots connected by wavy black lines. The edge is not painted.
