DescriptionFooted shape of Chinese export bowls; fine specimen of puebla adaptation of Far Eastern printed ornament. This is also an interesting comparative example with contemporary and competitive wares known as Delft and Lambeth Delft.
Dark blue band on rim w/ two narrow bands below lead into main design area on the bowl's exterior surface, divided into six compartments by vertical rows of blue circles. Each compartment contains dark, open chrysanthemums and leaves.
