DescriptionThis necklace of orange-red Persian amber, silver and glass beads is strung on a black cotton cord. Groups of three beads alternate with those of one. The lower part of the necklace has a large pear-shaped piece of amber capped in metal filagree surrounding small (diamond? crystal?) rounds. A similar pattern is found beneath. The necklace ends in a tassel of amber beads. 40" in length. Said to be 200 years old.Artist not recorded
