DescriptionWarpface weave, yarns dyed indigo by ikat technique. Dye is uniformly strong and dark overall. Head opening is now sewn up but is the original woven during making. Self fringes are the warp ends twisted with a small knot and show ikat type of resist dye. Fringe is 12 cm (4.75 in) on each end. Piece without fringe is 157 cm (61.75 in).
