DescriptionThick, chip-carved and painted frame with side pieces pointed at top and bottom with central triangles between top and bottom. All parts built up of five layers, painted mauve with a little chocolate brown wash over, which is now crackled in places. Within the frame, under glass, is a printed image of the Virgin and child with angels beneath and in the two top corners. Virgin and child within a trefoil of roses. The Virgin reaches out and hands a rosary to a tonsured saint at proper bottom right. At bottom left a church official with large crown at his feet also kneels to Virgin. Below image, mostly hidden by frame text reads "O Maria, Königin des Rojenfranzes, bitte fur uns!".
