DescriptionJar with rounded rim. Four lug handles just below neck on shuolder. Jar was fired on its side, so the ash runs wrap around the jar sideways. When fired, it rested on four seashells which left unglazed imprints on one side. The jar has a rounded rim at the base. The jar is gray on one side, changing to a dark brown and copper color on the side with shell marks. The runs are golden to dark brown on the "top" side and thick and deep brown on the seashell side. Bottom stamped with a "D".Daniel Johnston
