DescriptionTall basket (a), round at top rim and bottom of foot, with tall squared, slightly flaring foot. The exterior woven with plain basket weave foot and decorative six sided geometric pattern, behind which are randomly positioned irridescent green jewel beetle wings. A tightly woven plain basket weave interior liner holds them in place. The neck curves in slightly and is defined by wrapped twigs at neck rim and shoulder. Lid (b) has similarly wrapped verticals and horizontals at waist and semi-circular round lid is also double-layer horizontal basket with eight pointed "star" design at top center. A layer of straw is located between the two woven layers of both (a) and (b).1970's
