DescriptionCreche scene with Mary and Joseph and Christ Child in raised manger. Four sheep in front of glass-fronted and sided structure with cross on peaked roof and angel blowing on trumpet below. Within "manger" is central praying angel flanked by pairs of angels, one group playing flute and violin, the other lute and harp. Carefully chip carved wood structure with applied zigzag linear elements, stars and diamonds painted green and gold. Box base on stacked feet. The fabric backing behind group of angel musicians is set with five stars.ca. 1980s
