DescriptionBrass candle holder with eight holders on a bench before a back panel, and a ninth shamas or servant-light holder on a detachable swinging arm a the proper left side. The bench front is sculpted with eight arches, and sits on four flattened, round feet. On the back panel, eight arched mihrabs (gates) back the holders, and above them is an outlined panel depicting two lions of Judah flanking a seven candle temple Menorah. Swirls and dots outline the panel, and the back plate is stamped in Hebrew "Ha'Nerot Halalu Kodesh Hem" which translates as "These lights are Holy." The piece is also marked in Hebrew "Bezalel" and "Yerushalem"
