The word geni means "fire", and this monkey has fair of fun. Anggeni is a devotee of Bathara Brama (noted in Java as the god of fire) and a soldioer in Rama's army. He appears in lakon such as "Rama Tambak," (Rama Bridges the Way) and other Ramayana stories.
