DescriptionFIgure of God in papal tiara with red rays from head, beard, red cloak, holds small bearded figure of Christ in both hands who in turn holds the dove or Holy Ghost. Red, rigid swags and square red forms at right and left. This is in the assured stylized, and well-developed late style of Molleno and the only example of his rendering of this subject in this symbolic manner except the panel in the Evans collection in DAM. A5.1952.103 is more colorful and freer.
