DescriptionJuan Diego is showing his family the cloak with the image of the Virgin de Guadalupe on it. Roses have tumbled out to the floor. The scene is in the family home, which has a wood plank floor and door, and a Mexican style rug. The front door is open and three figures, two male and one female, are either standing or kneeling in front of Juan Diego. A large male figure in a poncho and Mexican hat on his back occupies the lower left corner of the piece. Signed, in lower right.
