DescriptionFigure stands with bare feet wide apart, has robe of cloth and gesso painted dark red on which are clusters of opaque white dots and border. At the back mantle is of wood and reaches to base as good support. Long dark hair and beard, face is well modelled, sharp nosed, cheeks unduly bright pink. Hole in head for now lost halo or crown. Painted red wooden staff once had leaves at top, now lost.
