DescriptionNeo-gothic pointed shape with 5 glass panels filled by pink and gold wallpaper, 1870s or 1880s style. Upper panels converge to rosette of three layers of tin. Smaller pointed towers at sides, also have rosettes, and each has a tin cross; a reference to the Holy Trinity. Solid tin back has curvillinear embossed designs. There are also embossed floral designs and a star. Tin 1/3 rounds fill lower corners. Originally lower border of box was lower than its floor and so has broken. No data from old list.

This is attributable to José María Apodaca, based on the construction of the rosettes, the crosses, the Holy Trinity theme, and the use of wallpaper. Compare to A.1980.36.312 - Carla Gilfillan
