DescriptionLucano family, TlaquepaqueA flat, ovaloid shaped decorative mask. The mask is ceramic and has an elaborately painted design. The eyes, mouth, and nose are painted on. The central design is of a man, woman, and child, walking along a stone-lined path. Surrounding them are trees, cacti, and birds. Above, are more birds and a large sun. Below the central figures is a scene of a woman and man tending to plants and a small house.
