Senyshyn began creating art after the death of his father, a combat
commander who helped liberate the city of Kherson in Eastern
Ukraine. “His unit was often sent to the most difficult front
lines […] It was from there that I received news of his last battle,”
remembers Senyshyn. This angel is inspired by an original sculpture Senyshyn crafted for his father’s gravesite.
