DescriptionEntitled: Muohta / Snow. Large Sami style brooch with two layers of cacading circular charms around edge, and snowflake design in center. Jubilee edition of the brooch Muohta designed for Erica Huuva Design’s 10-year jubilee in 2016. “Inspired by the white snow crystal that also represents the foundation of the Sámi culture – the migration of the reindeer. The Sámi language has hundreds of words to describe different kinds of snow, for its quality and character – for its soul.”
