DescriptionGold embroidered silk scarf, tassels at ends. Heavy brocade (zardozi) embroidery at edges and ends. The silk used for this scarf is undyed golden mulberry silk with a naturally lustrous sheen. The weave is a supplemental weft brocade. The ends are more heavily brocaded in a diamond pattern, while the central area includes delicate repeating leaf motif.ca. 1960s
