DescriptionThis cross, or Arma Cristi, is comprised of wood, and paint. The body of the cross is painted and attached to a two tiered base. There is a carved Christ figure at the center of the cross, with four rays with flower like shapes at the terminations of each. There are faces on the horizontal bar to the right and left of the christ figure. Above Christ there is a white bird, and the word “INRI”. Below Christ there is a painted black chicken standing on a stool, and below that there is a figure in a pink robe and dark blue cape.Artist unrecorded
