DescriptionThese pants seem to be reconstructed from an older pair(s). The lower leg is older and consists of a red striped fabric heavily embroidered with chain and running stitches to create intricate geometric patterns in black red and beige enhanced with orange, purple, and green. The inner leg and crotch are are of red cotton with a white, pale blue and brown pattern. The main body of the pants is of a light-weight blue cotton and the upper hip of a small-flowered print calico.Artist unrecorded
