DescriptionThis apron is made of a single piece of checked wool in reds, greens, and touch of yellow at the sides. It is lined with a single piece of burgundy colored cotton. This long, triangular apron has braided ties of red, gold, and brown wool. The hem area is elaborately sequined and beaded, as well as embroidered in many colors. An edge of crocheted lace is underlain with bright blue (acrylic?) fringe from which hang metal sequins.19th century
