DescriptionTerracotta pitcher with bulbous body narrowing to flared neck. Handle with ribbon-like, undulating decoration extends between top of body and rim. Rose modeled with individual petals protrudes from front of neck, flanked by two leaves. Vine with eight leaves and budding leaf at tip winds across front of body. Except for small area at bottom, pitcher is covered with a reddish brown glaze with a dark brown glaze overlaid in a loose pattern of stripes crossing to form vertical diamonds.1980s
