DescriptionPortrait of Our Lady of Guadalupe standing, dressed in red gown and blue cape, surrounded by gold rays and supported by an angel. Pink flowers with green stems encircle her figure except for open space at the bottom. Background is light violet and fringe is white. Piece is done using the traditional colcha stitch/embroidery style of New Mexico. All over colcha design, with stitches covering the entire piece so the backing fabric does not show through the front.
