DescriptionPainted gold frame made of layered pieces of notched wood. In frame, many small carved wood objects. In center, cross made from layered, notched pieces of wood, painted gold and silver. Small figure of Christ on the cross painted gold. Other objects in the frame are: ladder, chains/cord, rooster (marking Peter's denial of Christ), column, nails, hammer, sword, whip, pincers, chalice (blood of Christ and the Last Supper), 30 pieces of silver (price of Judas' betrayal), crown of thorns, snake.
