DescriptionThe deep purple wool ground offsets the center clamshell pattern in muted grays, teals, tans, corals, peaches, blues (light and dark) made of a synthetic material(probably rayon or silk from hosiery dyed by the artist.) The artist's name (first only) is identified by masking tape affixed to the reverse. The rug has been mounted onto a wooden board (6 x 85.5 x .75). Reverse edged with navy cotton tape.
