DescriptionEmbroidery depicting 38 episodes from the Ramayana stitched on ecru silk with black silk borders. Images include human and mythological figures and a palace, as well as stylized birds and vegetation. Each scene is enclosed with brown diagonally sewn frames. The predominant colors are reds, greens, light blues and yellow.
