DescriptionShort woman's skirt wrapper a) of dark blue cotton with a widely spaced light oliver green plaid woven into the fabric and surrounding wider green border stripes with stripes of red and gold on each border. Selective cutting of the narrow olive green plaid stripes has created a darker fabric with a lighter weight and airy, delicate appearance in geometric motifs of diamonds, zigzags and rectangles. The red/gold bands have also had alternating sections pulled. A lavender colored tag sewn onto one corner reads 2a9. The longer wrapper, b) is made of two slightly longer sections of the same cloth, sewn together horizontally, with the same cut and pulled patterns created overall. A lavender colored cloth tag in bottom corner reads 29b.
