DescriptionPainting on rectangular wood panel with large, deeply "petalled" lunette atop depicts a bulky dancing man in a dark blue cassock holding a bottle of wine in his upraised proper left hand. He stands within a desert landscape with a church in the proper left background, mountains to his right. With him are four blue winged angels, one dressed in a mariachi outfit strumming a guitar, the other three in white aprons over long black gowns, one drinking from a bottle, one with a glass raised in proper left hand, and one inserting a palo into a horno. Three white doves fly overhead. The edge and lunette are painted brown.Isleta Tin Workshop
