DescriptionThin pink-painted plywood panel with portrait of George Washington in shards of broken glass, wearing a crown. In red glitter over small shards of clear broken glass inscribed below "King George 1st" and in circle at proper right side "One Dollar". Written in pale red on proper right side above the "dollar" is "The Silver Dollar Washington" and below "threw across the River." In blue marker on proper left "I stand to-be corrected" and "Mount Vernon Place". Across bottom in light red "History·will·prove·it·to·be·correct". Two nails in top corners have lengths of cotton string attached for a hanger.Artist unrecorded
