DescriptionSmall rectangular rug depicting a scene from 9-11 with planes flying toward the twin towers, english text and a US aircraft carrier at the bottom. American and Afghan flags are centered in front of the lower portion of the towers, with an off white bird of peace connecting the two. A bomb-likeshape in cream and burgundy is located at lower proper left above a grey, burgundy, green and cream US aircraft carrier. Undetermined and misspelled text throughout "American flag, airplane, USA" and along bottom "Made in Re shanis i" [unreadable]. The rug has an off white background framed with burgundy, black and dark green zig-zag motif and black edges. Off white fringe is located at the upper and lower edges. Text is clearer on the backside of the rug.1996
