Provenance unclear until Nov 2, 2002 Eric Zafran purchased from Skinner Auctioneers, Gotoff Collection sale, for $1,528.00
DescriptionShrine (a) with arched central opening flanked by side windows on base with "secret" locking drawer (no key). Central arched opening backed with blue green velvet surrounded by fabric flowers edged with metallic thread over metallic trim and tacks. Windows on either side of arch bear images of Sts. Helena and Ludwig. Small "windows" on base and drawers have floral or evergreen pictures. The sides with mirrors on top, one cutout on fabric below (other side missing).
