DescriptionChest with tray and key. Constructed of white pine with armature of punched tin and decorative tin molding. Tin design is floral with cross hatching on panels with scalloped overlay borders. Wrought iron hinges and lock closure. Rivets on handles, hinges and lock closure are copper. Two hatched handles on sides. Wooden legs with tin band at base. Interior tray of wood, punched tin, and reverse paintings on glass with "floral pattern" Attached wooden handles protruded above tray. Interior of trunk is pine with tin embellishments on trunk lid. Interior floor is a loose sheet of tin.On View
